'SaveTransferRequest' API Throwing Exception When Non-Ranged Items are Present on the Request

In Store Inventory Management (SIM) application, find that, a non-ranged item to a store included in a store to store transfer fails with the following error:
Steps to Recreate:
1. Identify a valid item from SIM.
2. Verify that the identified item is not ranged to either one or both of the locations which are to be requested on the transfer.
3. Call SIM Application Program Interface(API) saveTransferRequest (StoretoStoreTransferService) with the item and store combination and notice the error in server log.
