RMS Application Hangs When User Attempts To Edit A Request For A Stock Count

Retail Merchandising System (RMS) application hangs when user attempts to edit a stock count request, by adding a new department, and save the changes. RMS becomes unresponsive and session has to be killed.
There are more than 6000 departments included in the stock count.
Steps to recreate:
- From the main menu, select Inventory > Stock Count -> Open
- From the action menu select Edit, action type = request
- Search and retrieve a stock count (tested on ID = 3609) and press "Product".
Make sure that more than 6000 departments are included in the stock count.
- Select a department to add (tested on 7893) and save the changes.
- Application hangs
