Currently on Oracle Retail Brazil localized version (RMS/RFM), all in-transit goods are part of receiving location inventory. In other words, after the shipment of goods occurs on the sending location, the inventory is decreased at the source location and the “in transit” inventory bucket is increased on the destination location. Based on this Oracle Retail core concept, the WAC is recalculated at receiving location after the occurrence of transfer’s shipment (from source to destination location), and not at the receipt time at the destination location.
Based on legal requirements (art. 70 Convenio S/N de 1970,WAC should be recalculated only after the physical receiving on destination location (Receipt), and not right after the sending location ships the goods (ASNOut).
