Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, Memory Based Planner

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Forecast consumption not happening at component level

There is an issue in our VCP process where the forecast is stored at component level and Sales orders are at ATO model level.

The idea is that component level forecast is consumed by the dependent sales order demand. This consumption is working for some of the purchasing parts but
for some, they are not.
Two components defined are part of same sales Order and config item but showing different behavior.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Forecast consumption should happen.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigation: Advanced Supply Chain Planner > Supply Chain Plan > Launch
2. Verify forecast consumption
