When attempting to run a synchronization that copies a calendar from one project to a new project in the same P6 database, it was noticed that when the activities use a project specific calendar, the copy fails with the error

Invalid calendar type: Project

  1. Create a synchronization in Gateway that copies a project and baseline from "XXXX" to "XXXX Copy", within the same P6 database, using groovy scripts in the field mapping template to rename the Project ID.
  2. Add the Calendars object to the business flow.
  3. Alter the field mapping so that the Project ID for the destination is "XXXX Copy", so that the calendar is copied from project "XXXX" to "XXXX Copy".
