Function Overrides Not Called (Doc ID 2287315.1)

Symptoms

On : 10.2.0.12 version, General

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Newly created company level overrides of existing functions not being attached to transactions. Instead, the global definition of the function is being attached. This began after installing 10.2.0.12c patch.
Inconsistently, existing Overrides for a function (defined before upgrading to 12c) are erased, and the Global definition for the function is cleared.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

the functions should be accessible.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1: Select an existing function in the global explorer.
2: Create new Company level override for this function (ensure that the configuration differs from that of the Global definition).
3: Open the XML for a transaction belonging to this company.
4: Configure a FUNCTIONCALL variable which makes use of the newly created override and check in.
5: Open the Functions folder in the explorer under this transaction and navigate to the XML for the function which was just added.
6: Observe that the Global definition is attached to the transaction.
