Supply Demand Data In MRP Planner Workbench Form (MRPSCPWB) Does Not Match Item Supply/Demand Form (INVDVDSD) In Inventory (Doc ID 2287633.1)

On : 11.5.10.2 version, Miscellaneous in Production

Users are comparing supply demand outputs in the MRP workbench (MRPSCPWB.fmb) and the Item Supply Demand form (INVDVDSD.fmb) in the INV module. They note that the supply demand does not match. Example data:

A. In the MRP workbench customer sees the following for
Item = 913051
Org = M1
Plan name = M1-MRP

2 Purchase Orders
qty = 4 due 15-JUN-2017
qty = 4 due 12-OCT-2017 (both reschedule out)

3 Planned order Demands
Qty = -2.9997 due 15-JUN-2017
Qty = -1.9998 due 16-AUG-2017
Qty = -2.9997 due 12-OCT-2017

B. Customer looks at same item/org above in Item Supply Demand form in INV /On-hand Availability / Item Supply Demand and only sees the following data:

3 Purchase Orders
qty = 4 due 12-JUN-2017
qty = 4 due 12-JUN-2017
qty = 8 due 01-JAN-2018

They want to know why the data does not match exactly between MRP and the Item Supply Demand form

Expect the item supply demand form in INV and the MRP workbench to match for supply demand for a given item/organization combination

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run MRP Plan
2. Review Supply Demand Data for an item/org in the MRP workbench
3. Also review the same item/org information in the INV item supply demand form
4. The supply demand data does not match between the two
