12.2.5.1 Starting and Monitoring the Engine From Workflow UI (Doc ID 2287881.1)

Last updated on JULY 18, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Demantra Demand Management - Version 12.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customer has Demantra 12.2.5.1 with the engine configured on the Linux box
They run the engine from the workflow
Once the workflow triggers the engine, the workflow exits out
The user has no way to figure out when the engine completed and if completed whether successful or failure
The user does not have access to sql developer nor to the linux box where they can either run queries on the forecast_history table or init_params_0 table or tail the engine manager log
Customer is looking for a way whereby the user can figure out if the engine completed and if a success without access to sql and linux server
In the previous version they could check the status from the URL using the status command. But it seems the same has been deprecated in the 12.2.5x
Is there a way we can help them
