Last updated on MARCH 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 8.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

USE_QUIT_NC feature is causing tcp_smtp_server to dump cores.

USE_QUIT_NC was enabled for our milters (DKIM, SPF, DMARC) by setting USE_QUIT_NC=1 to the *opt files.
After putting some load on the MTA, we found many tcp_smtp_server cores files.
