Last updated on AUGUST 09, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 11.3.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The method suggested is for friends and family scenario.

Basic Reported Scenario is as follows:

1) There are 2 service lines in the system.
2) The 2 service lines have their own profile with ERA value as unique CUG ID.

Sample profile:

# number of field entries allocated 20, used 12
0 PIN_FLD_POID POID [0] 0.0.0.1 /profile/serv_extrating 18639174295 0
0 PIN_FLD_CREATED_T TSTAMP [0] (1491917412) Tue Apr 11 16:30:12 2017
0 PIN_FLD_MOD_T TSTAMP [0] (1491917412) Tue Apr 11 16:30:12 2017
0 PIN_FLD_READ_ACCESS STR [0] "L"
0 PIN_FLD_WRITE_ACCESS STR [0] "L"
0 PIN_FLD_ACCOUNT_OBJ POID [0] 0.0.0.1 /account 18639175190 0
0 PIN_FLD_EFFECTIVE_T TSTAMP [0] (1491917043) Tue Apr 11 16:24:03 2017
0 PIN_FLD_NAME STR [0] "CLOSEDUSERGROUP"
0 PIN_FLD_OBJECT_CACHE_TYPE ENUM [0] 0
0 PIN_FLD_SERVICE_OBJ POID [0] 0.0.0.1 /service/telco/gsm/telephony 18639171990 0
0 PIN_FLD_EXTRATING SUBSTRUCT [0] allocated 20, used 3
1 PIN_FLD_LABEL STR [0] "CUG"
1 PIN_FLD_REFERENCE_COUNT INT [0] 1
1 PIN_FLD_STATUS ENUM [0] 0
0 PIN_FLD_DATA_ARRAY ARRAY [0] allocated 20, used 4
1 PIN_FLD_NAME STR [0] "VPN"
1 PIN_FLD_VALID_FROM TSTAMP [0] (0)
1 PIN_FLD_VALID_TO TSTAMP [0] (0)
1 PIN_FLD_VALUE STR [0] "10"

3) Here the CUG ID is '10'.
4) Custom rule is defined to check the if the ERA value of A number and B Number are matching.

Rule:

  CUG Rule
Rule to evaluate Closed User Group
  b2261838-e12a-43e2-8a8e-20eb8933b1be
  Default
  false

  CLOSEDUSERGROUP

  INTERSECT
  ORIGINATING
  CLOSEDUSERGROUP.CUG
  PROFILE_SPEC_FIELD

  TERMINATING
  CLOSEDUSERGROUP.CUG
  PROFILE_SPEC_FIELD

5) This is working when profile is created for both A and B number separately.

It required is to create this profile only at the parent service line and share it across its members line. So, the profile is shared with all the members and the customAnalyzerRule is satisfied.
