Symptoms

For Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), or Asset Liability Management (ALM) 6.1 to 8.0 Migration, after completing the migration, when you check the custom dimension attribute data in REV_DIM_ATTRIBUTES_B, you see the related rows have ATTRIBUTE_DIMENSION_ID = 4 when the attributes are not dimension attributes.

For example, for Org Unit, the following data exists in REV_DIM_ATTRIBUTES_B for custom attributes:

ATTRIBUTE_ID ATTRIBUTE_VARCHAR_LABEL DIMENSION_ID ATTRIBUTE_DIMENSION_ID ATTRIBUTE_VALUE_COLUMN_NAME ATTRIBUTE_DATA_TYPE_CODE
5032 5032 1 4 VARCHAR_ASSIGN_VALUE VARCHAR2
5033 5033 1 4 VARCHAR_ASSIGN_VALUE VARCHAR2
5034 5034 1 4 VARCHAR_ASSIGN_VALUE VARCHAR2

Since the attributes are defined as "VARCHAR2" and not "Dimension", you expect the ATTRIBUTE_DIMENSION_ID column to be null.
