Last updated on AUGUST 18, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to [Release 4.3 to 12.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC) 5.0.1, the Diameter PermittedInstances configuration item does not honor unlimited connected clients when set to 0, which is defined as 'allow all' according to the documentation.

Second and subsequent bind attempts are rejected.

Expected behaviour:

One should have as many connections as they want from that endpoint if PermittedInstances is set to 0.
