Database Names Disappear From the Dropdown List of the P6 Web Login Screen

On the 15.2.x P6 Web login screen, when connecting using a Windows 10 computer and the Internet Explorer 11 browser: the Advanced menu dropdown list of available databases shows all the available databases, but when one is selected a blank database name displays and the user cannot connect to any of the listed databases.
This problem does not occur when using any other operating system with Internet Explorer 11, or when using Windows 10 and any other browser type other than Internet Explorer 11.
Users should be able to select any of the available databases in the dropdown list and login to P6 Web, with any combination of operating system and web browser.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Browse to the P6 Web login screen using a Windows 10 machine and Internet Explorer 11.
2. Expand the 'Advanced' section, view the dropdown list of available databases, and choose a different database.
3. Note the 'Database' field is now blank; user is not able to log in to P6 Web.
Due to this issue, users on Windows 10 computers using Internet Explorer 11 cannot choose and connect to a non-default database.
