Conditional Rum Counter is Not Getting Expired After Cancellation (Doc ID 2291587.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 06, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 11.2.0.8.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On ECE 11.2.0.8.0, Balance Management

When a bundle is cancelled as per below scenario, the daily grant validity of the resources are not getting expired.

Scenario:
When a bundle is purchased ,daily grant of 3GB will be allocated with validity end date with midnight. The grant is happening based on the conditional RUM configuration as per the creation of the pricing object on the PDC server. This happens during the first usage event. The bundle is cancelled on the same day ,still 3GB grant is active with validity end date with midnight. Now if the same bundle is repurchased ,then again 3GB is being granted with validity end date with midnight.
So on the same day ,the counter is having 6GB which should not be the case, only 3GB should be active

Question: How to achieve the above scenario?
