Symptoms

When attempting to login to the Primavera P6 Administrator (adminpv.cmd/.sh), using external encryption keys with an AE06 encryption string stored for the private database user in the PUBUSER database table, the following error is observed:

Invalid authentication. Please try again.

The following error is observed in the DOS window running the Administrative Tool:
