Can Multiple ASAP Instances Use Single Database Instance? (Doc ID 2295600.1)

Goal

Currently we have 6 ASAP application instances that are processing orders. Each one of the ASAP instance has it's own separate database instance. We would like to consolidate the 6 database instances into a single instance by reducing the resources allocated to the database.

Is this type of solution supported by the ASAP? If so, how?
