Goal
On : 12.2.4 version, Memory Based Planner in All instances
Users would like to know if safety stock can be setup to only calculate based on Independent demand like forecast and sales orders and ignore any dependent demand. Example:
Item A has safety stock setup
Method = MRP Planned
Bucket Days = 10
Percent = 1000
Demand
=======
Sales order demand due day 5 qty = 10
Forecast demand due day 6 qty = 10
dependent demand due day 5 qty = 5
Users want the safety stock calculation to only use the qty = 10 sales order demand and qty = 10 forecast demand and ignore the dependent demand qty = 5. Is this possible?
