The Team Member Deployment Fails to Start With Error ORA-12505 TNS:Listener Does Not Currently Know of SID Given in Connect Descriptor (Doc ID 2298082.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to start the Team Member deployment, the following error occurs.

org.springframework.context.support.AbstractApplicationContext refresh
WARNING: Exception encountered during context initialization - cancelling refresh attempt: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'shared.context' defined in class path resource [META-INF/shared-context.xml]: Bean instantiation via constructor failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.BeanInstantiationException: Failed to instantiate [org.springframework.context.support.ClassPathXmlApplicationContext]: Constructor threw exception; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'configurationPropertyConfigurer' defined in class path resource [META-INF/jpa-context.xml]: Cannot resolve reference to bean 'configurationAccessor' while setting bean property 'configurationAccessor'; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'configurationAccessor' defined in class path resource [META-INF/jpa-context.xml]: Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is org.springframework.jdbc.CannotGetJdbcConnectionException: Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to the WebLogic Console.
2. Go to 'Deployments'.
3. Attempt to start the Team Member deployment.
