SmsAlarmManager Crashing Because Of Long Error Messages (Doc ID 2301390.1)

Symptoms

smsAlarmManager process on OC3C 6.0.1 is crashing because of long error messages being recorded.

The issue is present when SELinux is enabled in permissive mode and producing very long error messages (into the messages log), which causes smsAlarmManager to crash, sometimes with a coredump. The coredump may not be present at every crash.
