imsimta cnbuild Returns Error: Error in mm_init -- unknown keyword ... in file IMTA_TABLE:imta.cnf (Doc ID 2304885.1)

Symptoms

Recently made some changes to the configuration of the Messaging Server and upon trying to perform imsimta cnbuild, an error is returned.

The error returned is the following:


Snippet of imta.cnf where it is complaining:

! tcp_intranet
! Do mapping lookup for internal IP addresses
[] $E$R${INTERNAL_IP,$L}$U%[$L]@tcp_intranet-daemon  <----- this is line #64
.example.com $U%$H.example.com@tcp_intranet-daemon
* $U%$&0.host.example.com

What is really strange about this is that there is a second server which has the exact same version of imta.cnf as the problem server, and the compile works without any issue there.

Various changes were made to some of the config files.
