Agile PLM is Not Synchronizing LDAP User Who Rejoined Company (Doc ID 2304990.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

LDAP user attributes such as email address is not refreshed for LDAP user who rejoined the company


Expected Behavior

LDAP user attributes such as email address to be refreshed for LDAP user who rejoined the company

Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Java Client, goto Admin tab > Server Settings > LDAP, and configure LDAP
  2. Login to Web Client, and configure LDAP
  3. From Java Client, goto Admin tab > User Settings > Users, and click Refresh Users from LDAP directory
  4. Confirm that the LDAP users are added to Agile
  5. Update email address of one of the user in LDAP server
  6. From Java Client, goto Admin tab > User Settings > Users, and click Refresh Users from LDAP directory
  7. Check the email of the LDAP user. See the email address is not refreshed
