Unable to Establish a Connection With BI Publisher Server When Using SSL

Symptoms

Symptom 1:

Unifier is unable to connect to the BI Publisher server (SSL) when using the Test Connection button within Unifier Configurator. The following error is received:

Test Connection Failed.

Symptom 2:

When attempting to Publish a Custom Print or Custom Report from within Unifier, the following error is seen:

Internal Error. Server is not Accessible. Contact System Administrator.

After deploying the Unifier application to the Weblogic server and testing a Custom Report publish action, the following error is seen in the Unifier.log file:
