Mobile Sync Error: Unexpected Status HTTP/1.1 501 Method REPORT Is Not Defined In RFC 2068 And Is Not Supported By The Servlet API

Symptoms

Oracle Communications Mobile Synchronization Gateway version: 8.0.0.0.0 (8-0.39; built 2016-06-22T19:59:24-0700)

After installing and configuring the Mobile Sync Gateway (MSG), we can authenticate with a mobile device to activesync but, cannot access Calendar or Contacts.

The following errors are seen in the errors.0 log:

INFO [2017-09-14T10:50:51.202+0200] CardDAV - Unexpected status HTTP/1.1 501 Method REPORT is not defined in RFC 2068 and is not supported by the Servlet API
INFO [2017-09-14T10:50:51.240+0200] CardDAV - Unexpected status HTTP/1.1 501 Method REPORT is not defined in RFC 2068 and is not supported by the Servlet API
INFO [2017-09-14T10:50:35.366+0200] CalDAV - Unexpected status HTTP/1.1 405 Method not allowed: REPORT
