Symptoms
When attempting to install a P6 EPPM Patch, against an environment including the Web Services component, the following chain of errors occurs:
ERROR
The following is displayed on the screen as a pop up dialog: Failed Deploying Updated Components: Deployment failed. Please check the logs.
The installer oraInstallDATETIME.out file shows the following:
....Failed to deploy the application with status failed
Current Status of your Deployment:
Deployment command type: deploy
Deployment State : failed
Deployment Message : weblogic.application.ModuleException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.wsdl.xml.WSDLLocator
No stack trace available.
This Exception occurred at XXXXXXX
weblogic.management.scripting.ScriptException: Error occurred while performing deploy : Deployment Failed.

1.Run the P6 EPPM patch utility using the default options.
