TRAN_DATA Records Are Created For Received Non_inventory Items in RMS (Doc ID 2309870.1)

Symptoms

TRAN_DATA records are posted for received non-inventory items.
If stock on hand is not updated for received non-inventory items then also TRAN_DATA records should not be created for these received items.


Steps to recreate:

  1. Create purchase orders for orderable but non-inventory items in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
  2. Receive the purchase order in Store Inventory Management (SIM).
  3. Notice that SIM allows the receiving of purchase order created in RMS even if the item is non-inventory.
  4. Notice that transaction data are posted in RMS TRAN_DATA table for the received items, but the stock on hand is not updated.
