System Is Throwing Item Error For Supplier VPN Number In ItemUDA Screen (Doc ID 2310175.1)

System is throwing error in Item UDA Screen for Supplier VPN even though it is defined at item supplier Level.


Steps to reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into RMS Application
  2. Navigate to Item find screen
  3. Navigate to Item Maintenance screen wih an item number for which VPN is defined at the Item supplier level.
  4. Navigate to ItemUDA screen.
  5. Click on Options --> Item Number Type.
  6. Error message pop-up with "A variant or Vendor Product Number(VPN) must be entered to view the associated Item Number
