Duplicate SIP Call-IDs Generated by SCA
(Doc ID 2310947.1)
Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 and laterOracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In all versions of Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C) and Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) there is the potential for Session Control Agent (SCA) to generate duplicate Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Call IDs on outgoing INVITE messages.
This has the potential for the affected SIP calls (ie. those sharing the same Call ID) to be dropped due to incorrect message sequences appearing at a SIP User Agent.
Changes
Implementation of SIP services on NCC or OC3C.
