FCEXEC Batch is Failing due to Performance Issue When Huge Data Exist on CURRENCY_RATES Table (Doc ID 2311039.1)

Symptoms

During reclassification of item list from one merchandise hierarchy to another, FCEXEC batch is failing due to performance issue and locking threads.


Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create a new reclassification event with a list item ~ 3400 items.
  2. Total item / supp / country / location ~ 47,000 records in the COST_EVENT_THREAD table. According to the item / supp / country / location configuration, have> 45,000 deal records in the DEAL_ITEM_LOC_EXPLODE Table (different deals)
  3. Run FCEXEC batch
  4. Check that all 10 threads abort with the below error
