SIM Allows an Item Request with All the Items Having Zero Quantities to Be Completed (Doc ID 2311290.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) allows the item requests to be saved as completed even if the requested quantity is zero for all the line items and the request message is not sent out to Retail Merchandising System (RMS).

Steps to Recreate:

1. From the 'Item Request List' screen, press 'Create' button.
2. Press 'Add Item' button.
3. Enter any item ID, and without entering any Quantity in the 'Qty' field, press 'Request' button.
4. "Are you sure you want to submit the request?" , press 'Yes'.
5. "Items without quantities will be set to zero. Would you like to continue?", press 'Yes' button.

Note that the Item Request was created with Status 'Completed'.
