Oracle Knowledge Subscriptions - Unpublished Or Expired Content Is Still Listed In "My Subscriptions"

Can we remove documents from a user's subscription listing if the document is unpublished/expired?
Currently a user who is subscribed to documents can see their list of subscribed documents regardless of whether "Remove After Date" (expired) has been met or the document is unpublished. Which means if the users selects such document they receive message that the document is no longer available.
