Error "Attempt to Write a Readonly Database" When Attempting to Modify the P6 Standalone Database With an SQLite Database Utility Such as SQLite Expert or SQLite Command Line Shell (Doc ID 2312397.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to modify a standalone SQLite database using a 3rd-party database utility, for example SQLite Expert Personal or SQLite Command Line Shell, the following error occurs:

SQLite-attempt to write a readonly database

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Connect to the SQLite database (default name PPMDBSQLite.db) using a 3rd-party utility.
  2. Attempt to execute a command.
  3. The command fails with the reported error.


Due to this issue, the P6 standalone database cannot be modified via a 3rd-party utility.
