Information in this document applies to any platform.
When attempting to modify a standalone SQLite database using a 3rd-party database utility, for example SQLite Expert Personal or SQLite Command Line Shell, the following error occurs:
SQLite-attempt to write a readonly database
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Connect to the SQLite database (default name PPMDBSQLite.db) using a 3rd-party utility.
- Attempt to execute a command.
- The command fails with the reported error.
Due to this issue, the P6 standalone database cannot be modified via a 3rd-party utility.
