Equipment Inventory Changes Are Not Fully Reconciling All DLRs And Assignments For Dedicated Plant (Doc ID 2312478.1)

In MSS Connection Design:Version 6.0.15

Equipment Inventory edits not reconciling DLRs for Dedicated Plant Assignments. The user has to Delete the Dedicated Plant Assignment and add it back again in order to get it updated .

Additional Info : The issue occurs in both cases i.e the Recolcile happens in the GUI OR sent to Background Processor .

STEPS:

1-Make a DP assignment for ,say, circuit 1 on one Equipment Port .Close the design.

2-Make a normal Equipment Assignment or circuit 2 on another Port on the same Equipment .Close the design.

3-GO to Equipment Inventory and change an attribute of the Eq. which triggers reconcile .

4-After the Reconcile .Open the circuit 1 . The eq details will not be shown correctly . i.e the one which is changed. It shows the previous one .While it shows correctly in Circuit 2 .

5-Remove the DP assignment and add it back again . Now the details comes fine for Circuit 1 .
