Messaging Server 8 Rollover Manager Seems To Be Causing .nfs* Files To Be Created When Rolling Imap Log

Goal

Qn1:

Recently upgraded to Messaging Server 8 and the MS8 rollover manager seems to be causing .nfs* files to be created when rolling the imap log.
This seems to happen on any mailstore using NFS.  Because of this, our log archiving process is breaking, as it's not finding the correct filenames.

Is it assumed that the method of rolling logs has been changed in MS8 with the new rollover manager?

Can more details be provided on the maxsearchnest config? Is that a configutil item? Can you give the exact name for legacy config please?
