CFA Validation Commits Data Even Validation Routine Returns False

Custom Flex Attributes(CFA) validation commits data even validation routine returns false.
Steps To Recreate:
1. Define a CFA for Purchase Order(PO) and a validation routine.
2. Without any condition, return error from validation routine.
3. Notice that error message is displayed in screen and the value is still available in the screen.
4. Click on save. Notice that the value gets committed to database even though the validation routine failed.
The expectation is error message is displayed and the user should not be able to commit the data if validation routine returns false.
