Symptoms

In Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C) the Provisioning Interface (PI) provides a mechanism for manipulating data in the OC3C database using an Application Programming Interface (API). It enables bulk or scripted operations on the SMF data to be completed, where a human operator using the Java administration screens would be inefficient or error-prone.

 

It was observed that in OC3C version 6.0.1 the PI processing is slow and database process is terminated with the following error:
