Closing Wave That Has Overflow Picks Associated To It Does Not Disassociate The Item From Location (Doc ID 2313449.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 04, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a wave having overflow picks on it is closed, the item is staying associated to the location. Overflow locations are expected to be released once the picks are complete, whether picked or purge from wave (closed wave) as these are not static forward picking locations.

Steps to Recreate:

1. Create a wave having replenishment picks to overflow location type and outbound picks from the location.
2. Note the item associated to the location created during the distribution run.
3. Using Wave Status screen, close the wave not yet printed.
4. Note the picks are purged, but the item remains associated to the overflow location.
