Threadpoolworker.sh Command Line Argument Does Not Override Threadpoolworker.properties Setting

(Doc ID 2313610.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 05, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.5.0.2.0 to 2.5.0.2.0 [Release 2.5]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

According to pg. 101 of the CCB_Server_Administration_Guide_v2_5_0_2.pdf document, "Any command line options on threadpoolworker[.sh] utility can override settings in any configuration file."
However, when the tangosol.coherence.distributed.localstorage=false property is set in the threadpoolworker.properties file, this doesn't seem to get overridden when executing "threadpoolworker.sh -p RESCACHE=6 -d N -i 38260 -z -Dtangosol.coherence.distributed.localstorage=true".
