Primavera Gateway Error "HTTP Error" When Testing SAP Deployment Connection (Doc ID 2315099.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run the Test Connection for SAP in Primavera Gateway, the following error occurs.

ERROR

In Primavera Gateway UI:

HTTP error:


In Primavera Gateway log:

JCO_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon) on <system info>


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Edit the SAP deployment or create a new SAP deployment
2. Set the Calling Method to JCO-ApplicationServer
3. Enter the UserName, Password and SAP Instance Number
4. Click the Test Connection button
