Error: "Primavera P6 Professional R8.4 Has Stopped Working" When Attempting to Login

When attempting to log into the software the data starts loading, then the following error occurs:

Exception EAccess Violation in module PM.exe at 00A9A300. Access violation at address 00E9A300 in module 'PM.exe'. Read of address 00000000.

After clicking more:

Cannot find language file: comCaptions.

Clicking more leads to came comCaptions

Then Exception EOSError in module PM.exe at 00015669. A call to an OS function failed.

Then Primavera P6 Professional has stopped working...

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into P6

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot work in the system at all.
