Oracle Commerce Guided Search / Experience Manager's PlatformServices Tomcat shows occasional 500 "Internal Server Error" HTTP response codes in the localhost access log.
No other errors or negative behaviors are apparent in this environment.
This Knowledge Document is intended to document a scenario in which there is no impact from receiving these errors, and they are not actively associated with any unwanted server behavior. If other issues are occurring in the environment, HTTP 500 errors may be associated with those behaviors, and shot not be ignored. This document outlines why an environment might see HTTP 500 responses on IDelegateServer requests on an otherwise completely healthy implementation.
