Error "Your Session Has Expired. for Security Reasons Users Are Automatically Logged Out After an Extended Period of Inactivity. Please Login again." Navigating Within P6 or "Unable to Save Data" When Attempting to Save Changes After Sitting Idle on Page

Information in this document applies to any platform.
While using P6 (web), after roughly 1 hour / 2 hours of usage, one of the following two issues occur:
If switching pages within P6 (example, Resources to User Administration page), redirection to the P6 login page occurs with message "Your session has expired. For security reasons users are automatically logged out after an extended period of inactivity. Please login again."
If sitting on an existing page and attempting to save data, an "unable to save data" prompt is generated.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to P6
2. Continue usage of the application for a duration of time
3. Note one of the two issues which can occur above
