Effects Of Dkimpreserve Channel Option

Question 1: Does the MTA inspect the h= part of the DKIM-Signature header value and only do "passthrough" for those headers?
Question 2: If #1 is "No" what are all the effects of the "passthrough" mode enabled by dkimpreserve?
Question 3: In MS 8.0 destinationdkimpreserve is now available on a destination channel. Practically speaking, in terms of dealing with DMARC failures specific to DKIM (when c=relaxed/relaxed), what are the the differences of effects between this new option and dkimpreserve?
Question 4: Does the c=relaxed/relaxed have any impact on dkimpreserve options?
