Optimized Plan Shows Pegging Information Has Not Been Calculated For Xxxx In This Plan For Maintenance Work Order (Doc ID 2320229.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.2.4 version, Constrained Planning In Test

Users are on 12.2.4 and have applied patching. We had them also apply a missing one off patch 22288223 which provided MSONWL64.ppc 120.15.12020000.20.1202040.22

Users are running an ECC Constrained without detailed scheduling. They are seeing an intermittent issue where for Maintenance Work Order Supplies and Demands it shows no pegging or the statement - Pegging information has not been calculated for xxxx in this plan for Maintenance Work Order. The maintenance work orders are from cMRO. The work order is released demand pegs up, but does not peg to any of its material component requirements. The maintenance work order demand for the order shows up, but does not demand peg to anything. Example data:

cMRO work order = WRX-46031 with several components needed at Operation Sequence = 40 - the status of the order = released. In ASCP you cannot see any pegging at Operation = 40 for any of the components although the work order demand for the components does show up in the workbench. The trans id = 296437 for the Maint work order

The work order is for
Item = JMake
Org = TST:M1

Interestingly enough for another work order for same item/org above with trans id = 296499 shows the proper pegging at Operation = 40 for the supply pegging to the components

Things we tried:
1. They had the same issue in bug 22288223 and the patch was not applied. Applied the patch, confirmed it was applied, but issue remains
2. Verified it's a constrained plan per bug 13029987 (not supported in unconstrained plan)

Expect demand and supply pegging to be generated properly between the cMRO maintenance work order and its components

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply patch 22288223
2. Run ECC without detailed scheduling plan which is also Optimize enabled
3. One cMRO work order does not peg to it's components nor the components to the work order
4. Another cMRO work order does peg to it's components and the components peg to the work order for the same item/org
