Control Method Logic For ST Recovery Calculation (Doc ID 2322951.1)

Last updated on JUNE 26, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Fiscal Management - Version 14.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Brazilian Fiscal Law mentions the possibility of using the Weighted Average, combined with a Queue Method (LIFO or FIFO), in case of the last/first NF do not cover the full quantity to recover.

Example:

ST Recovery Calc Method is set to LIFO.Last Entry has the quantity of 50. Exit NF (which we will try to recover ST on), has 100 units as quantity, so Last Entry does not cover all the 100 units, in this case, the ST Recovery Calc should use the AVG Method.

This is currently possible (according to the Law) in at least 2 Brazilian States (PR and SP).

Is the current RFM logic working in accordance to current legislation?
