Customer Updater Is Not Coming Up (Doc ID 2324409.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.3.0.1.0 version, Customer Data Management

With the Patch 26442488 (i.e ECE Interim Patch 11.3.0.1.4) installed and with all the data in the ECE cache loaded, the "customerUpdater' did not come up.  The same patch installed in other environments did not face the issue.


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
------------------
Customer Updater is not coming up.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Customer Updater should be up and running.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. ./ecc
2. start server
3. start configLoader
4. start pricingUpdater
5. start customerUpdater
6. start emGateway
7. start brmGateway
9. start ratedEventFormatter

After that, the output of jps looked like all the processes were started, but customerUpdater went down with the below error in customerUpdater log file:
