(Doc ID 2324901.1)

Applies to:
Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 8.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Question 1: How to use strongrandom() to create a password value?
Question 2: Is the encode() function intentionally undocumented? Can/should I use it for generating a password?
Question 3: Starting with 8.0.2... you only need run configure once per deployment... [ then copy config.xml, xpass.xml, and restricted.cnf ]
Is there any difference that prevents one from starting with an 8.0.1.x config.xml and xpass.xml ?
