Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, Rating business logic

The user has the following accounts structure to confirm a Closed User Group (CUG) with telephone numbers that are not represented as accounts in BRM:

1. Account A
This account exists in BRM and has a CUG with Account Level Profile:
    Promotion Type: CUG
    Name: 88888888
    Value: CUG_1

2. Account B
This account also exists in BRM and has a CUG with Account Level Profile:
    Promotion Type: CUG
    Name: 99999999
    Value: CUG_1

3. Account C  (Virtual Account)
This account exists in BRM and has no purchased products, it only has a telephony service configured.
Also, this account has a telephony Service Level Profile that contains a list with all the telephone numbers that do not exist in BRM.
Finally, a profile sharing group is created in order to share the list of telephone numbers mentioned above with account members A and B.

The mentioned Service Level Profile has the following configuration:
    Service: telco/gsm/telephony
    Promotion Type: CUG
    Label: CUGs Prepagos
    Name: 77777777,Value: CUG_1
    Name: 66666666,Value: CUG_1

The idea is that the Account A or Account B can call to any number configured on the shared profile by the Account C, and ECE should rate this event with zero charge.
But, it was not working with the above implemented configuration, and ECE was not rating with zero charge for this kind of event.
