Clicking on the Reports Tab in P6 Web Crashes the Browser, and Requires the BI Publisher Application to be Restarted

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Selecting the Reports tab in P6 causes the browser to become unresponsive and the process must be ended via the Task Manager, and the BI Publisher server must be restarted.
The Reports tab should display reports without causing the browser to hang.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to P6 Web.
2. Access the Reports tab.
3. The browser becomes unresponsive.
