Symptoms
Active Directory (AD) queries for NMS authentication are occurring outside of configured Load Balancer
On a system that uses a load-balancer to handle authentication requests, the system admin discovered that there were authentication requests going to machines outside of the configured cluster.
They ran "snoop -d [network interface] > cap" and then "snoop -i cap > output_of_cap_file.txt" to get the set of traffic.
There should be no traffic to servers outside of the LDAP load balancer.
Changes
The weblogic managed server sends its authentication requests to a load balancer with several AD servers in the cluster.
