Customer Order Cancellation Does Not Work When UPC/barcode Information Is Passed In SIM Web Service

Symptoms

On Store Inventory Management (SIM) 16.0.1 version, Customer Order cancellation does not work when bar code information is passed in SIM web service


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Item bar code (item level 3) is used to customer order creation and cancellation;
  2. Customer Order is created for fulfillment from a physical store from SIM via web service;
  3. Cancellation request is then sent through web service;
  4. In web service response  <ns4:cancel_qty_suom>0.0000</ns4:cancel_qty_suom> is returned even that in the request is passed one to be canceled.
